SPOTTED WING DROSOPHILA TRAP
 
This sturdy, reusable, easy to hang trap minimizes labor and expense. Captured flies are attracted away from the entry holes by the liquid lure (customer makes by using apple cider vinegar, or a mixture of yeast and apple juice) and by light shining through the trap wall. Use baited traps to determine the onset of flight in the spring, as well as peak flights in late summer.
